Where I went on vacation to the Lake of the Ozarks
Map
I stayed in Osage Beach so that was our "homebase" for the trip.
Osage Beach, MO - Official Website | Official Website
I went here years ago with my family so of course I needed to see if anything had changed. They still sell hermit crabs.
Dogpatch Store
I had the Creole Quesadilla and it was excellent I need to figure out a way to make one at home.
Shorty Pants Lakeside Cajun Restaurant & Marina
I'm giving this its own spot because this Bass Pro Store is an attraction all on its own and if you don't want to spend money on the aquarium there are plenty of fish tanks and museums for free.
Bass Pro Shops Springfield, MO | Fishing, Boating & Hunting Gear
We went through both parts and I loved the aquarium it was truly an amazing experience. The first part with the taxidermy animals wasn't my favorite because I didn't start getting scared in some rooms.
Wonders Of Wildlife National Museum & Aquarium
Great food and a lot of it! The sides they bring around are great and of course the star of the show, the rolls, are worth the visit by themselves.
Lambert's Café
I was this close to a Buc-ee's so I needed to see it with my own two eyes.
Buc-ee's
My custard was delicious I will be going back next time I'm near an Andy's
Andy's Frozen Custard
Huge pancakes and really delicious.
The Pancake House
I needed a good sugary latte before our hike at Ha Ha Tonka and this hit the spot.
The Funky Buffalo Coffee House & Trading Co.
This is such a beautiful park I really enjoyed my hike I went on here
Ha Ha Tonka State Park
I couldn't go to Missouri and not visit a cave
Bridal Cave & Thunder Mountain Park
I really liked the pizza I got here, and it gave me enough fuel for the drive home.
