Under 3 Miles: Because you definitely have time for these.
1.4 miles and it’s basically a stairmaster with a great view! I grew up climbing this trail, and highly recommend to anyone who wants ocean views in the city.
Baldwin Hills Scenic Overlook
1.5 miles with beautiful coastal views! A relaxing, bright walk where you get ocean views and sometimes spot marine animals!
Point Dume Dove Trail
3 miles out & back with a little elevation, but the city + ocean views are so worth it! 🌿🌊 Best enjoyed in spring or summer when everything is extra green
Los Leones Trail
2.7 miles of steady inclines, enough to get your steps in and feel like you actually went hiking without leaving the city. HOWEVER, there's no shade, but it’s still a great walk.
Stocker Corridor Trail
0.5 miles | The most mystical little walk. Such a beautiful way to escape the city, slow down, and soak up some nature.
Ferndell Nature Trail
1-2 miles depending on your route with creeks and lots of cool rocks!
Devil’s Punchbowl Natural Area and Nature Center
Under 9 mile trails😮💨
Under 9 Miles: Enough to get you sweating!
3.7 miles in the San Gabriel mountains. You'll get at as high as 700 ft in elevation, with beautiful mountain views! There's also a river and waterfall.
Switzer Falls via Gabrielino Trail
5-6 mile hike depending on the path you take that gets you super close to the Hollywood Sign. A stample for anyone in CA!
Hollywood Sign Hike
3.7 miles with a beautiful mix of desert landscape and trees. A few gentle inclines, but overall a great walk and there’s even a little waterfall at the end for the perfect pictures!
Escondido Falls Trail
4.5 miles and great for those who like to take a swim during their hikes! Such a beautiful place, and you can sometimes spot rock climbers.
Malibu Creek Rock Pools
3.7 miles of mountain views and natural hot springs! Best enjoyed in the cooler fall and winter months. Please note parking is $10 per person CASH ONLY!
Deep Creek Hot Springs Trailhead
4 miles and features a waterfall + small pools of icy water. The rocks are also beautiful and you'll have to cross a creek too.
Canyoneering the Seven Teacups
Under 15 mile trails🥵
Under 15 Miles: Apenas llegamos, pero LLEGAMOS!
Up to 7 miles with the most gorgeous sunset views and small water bodies
Santiago Oaks Regional Park
11 miles with refreshing water bodies! Highly recommend getting there early since it does get crowded.
Santa Paula Punch Bowls
10 miles of greenery and water bodies! Lots of bugs, and getting wet is unavoidable so beware.
Bridge to Nowhere via East Fork Trail, California
11 miles that are definitely challenging. However, there's a river which is always nice. As long as you go early, you'll enjoy it without worrying too much about the heat.
