Places where your brain finally hits “do not disturb.”
The southernmost point of mainland Canada and total paradise for birdwatchers. I love going during sunset — feels like you’re standing at the edge of the world.
Point Pelee National Park - Parks Canada
A small gem with big views. Pack a blanket and some charcuterie — or just get fries from the chip truck and watch the water sparkle.
Lakeside Park
Great for a casual walk or sitting on the beach with a good book. Their amphitheatre sometimes has music events, which makes it extra fun in summer.

Runs through wine country and connects to multiple wineries. I did the Harrow to Kingsville stretch and stopped for rosé — no regrets.
Chrysler Canada Greenway Trail
Easy, flat, and runs past the river and parks. I like starting near the marina and ending with a smoothie at a local café.
Ganatchio - Trail Map
Quieter trail with lovely countryside views. Saw wildflowers and a hawk — plus barely any people. Peaceful AF.

Super relaxing route and the staff is so nice. We spotted turtles and herons. Plus, it’s great for beginners — very chill current.
River Canard Canoe – Canoe & Boat Rentals at the River Canard
Birdwatching, hiking, kayaking — it’s a triple threat. This place is also amazing in fall when the monarch butterflies migrate.
