I'm a big reader and my favorite genre is romance. I love the coziness of a good romance and how easy they are. It's the ultimate escapism :)
This is my all-time favorite book. I will never not recommend it. The characters are what make it so engaging for me, and it's one of the only books ever to make me laugh out loud. 100000000/10. Please read.
Spice level: mild 🌶️
Red, White & Royal Blue by Casey McQuiston, Paperback
I have re-read this multiple times. It's quick and easy and cute, and good for getting out of a slump. Spice level: mild🌶️
The Hating Game by Sally Thorne, Paperback
Christina Lauren (author duo under a single psuedonym) is (are?) one of my favorite romance authors. I always at least enjoy their books, if not outright love. This is one of my favorite by them. Two characters are very Chip and Joanna Gaines-coded, ...
The Honey-Don't List by Christina Lauren, Paperback
Another Christina Lauren favorite. Enemies to lovers, fake dating, all of the fun tropes. Spice level: mild 🌶️
The Unhoneymooners by Christina Lauren, Paperback
It's been a while since I've read this, but I remember loving the book (I gave it 5 stars on goodreads) and loving the dynamic between the two main characters.
Spice level: I do not recall, but probably mild🌶️
Boyfriend Material by Alexis Hall, Paperback
This is another book where I don't remember much other than I loved it - as well as the resulting spin-offs. It's more YA so I'd put the spice level at like vanilla ice cream. It's cozy and cute but they're in high school so it's PG.
Geekerella (Once Upon a Con Series #1) by Ashley Poston, Paperback
Apparently this started out as Star Wars (Reylo) fanfic which is a fun fact I just learned. I didn't pick up on that when I read it, but it was a cute book that I very much enjoyed.
