I devoured these books - some were long but this one brought two series together in a great way.
Born of Blood and Ash: A Flesh and Fire Novel
I can’t keep all of these straight because I read them all so fast!
A Fire in the Flesh: A Flesh and Fire Novel
More Armentrout - at some point I just kept reading and didn't know which series I was in but it all flowed!
A Soul of Ash and Blood: A Blood and Ash Novel
I think I liked this series better than her other one, but I enjoyed crossing between the two!
A Light in the Flame: A Flesh and Fire Novel
Another in the Blood and Ash series - even though I didn't like everything about this series, I had to read all of the books
The War of Two Queens (Blood And Ash Book 4)
First book in the Flesh and Fire series - loved the slow burn romance!
A Shadow in the Ember (Flesh and Fire Book 1)
More Poppy and Cas!
The Crown of Gilded Bones
Book 2 of the Blood and Ash series. These were sort of long but I couldn’t put them down
A Kingdom of Flesh and Fire: A Blood and Ash Novel
First book of the series - this one got me hooked! Loved how it started and how she builds the world. Made me read the rest of the series!
From Blood and Ash
All of these books are super quick reads - and yes I've read these more than once!
Reborn (Shadow Beast Shifters Book 3)
Super fast read with high spice level!
Reclaimed (Shadow Beast Shifters Book 2)
First book of the series - while these aren't the best written or edited books I've ever read, they are fun, fast reads with a semi likable fmc and a lot of spice. I've read them more than once (mostly for the spice).
Rejected (Shadow Beast Shifters Book 1)
I don't think I liked this as much as most people. It was good; I liked Schwab's Shades of Magic series better.
The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue
Historical Fiction
Great book, fast read, historical fiction that actually made me laugh out loud more than once!
Hotel of Secrets
Great book about lamp lighters in Prague and their 2nd responsibility of…fighting crime. Fast reads, great story!
The Lights of Prague
I loved this book - one story/relationship told from multiple perspectives. It took me a little bit to find the connections because it was not a linear story, but that’s what made it so brilliant. Highly recommend.
Trust (Pulitzer Prize Winner)
This was a gift and wow did I love it! Lots of magical realism, great story and Venice!
The Passion
I honestly don’t remember a lot of this one. I do remember finishing it and thinking “that was alright”, but unlike most, this didn’t leave a huge impression on me.
Song of Achilles, The
Dark Academia
I love dark academia and listened to this as an audio book. It was an interesting story with a multitude of flawed characters. Def a slow burn and I saw some of it coming but not everything!
Black Chalk
Folk Tales
Just a gorgeous novella from the story to the cover to the illustrations. Ended 2024 with this!
The Wood at Midwinter
Wow I loved this book. It's about magic, good and evil, an unlikely heroine, and rooted in Slavic mythology.
Uprooted: A Novel
I actually keep going back to this one - the stories are dark but I love that. Read The Noon Witch!
