My husband and I love running up to DC for a quick getaway. We are both foodies and history buffs and have a few DC favorites that always make for a great weekend!
Ada's on the River is actually across the river in Alexandria. We loved the trendy atmosphere and the awesome service. The first 3 pics are from our dinner that night!

This was a very cool museum! The response simulator and virtual driving course almost gave me a tiny taste my husbands job! I will keep my day job as the simulators proved I am not cut out for that life!

A DC staple, I have now moved up Mrs. Virginia's banana pudding to the top of my list from this spot! The first pic is from our lunch that day! One of many days…lol

Founding Farmers was a nice stop after a day of shopping in Tyson's Corner. The first 3 pics are from lunch that day. Our daughter joined us for this one!

We popped up to DC for an amazing concert and hubby booked a table here for dinner before. The food was amazing and they definitely offer top quality service and an old money atmosphere!
