This was a debut novel by someone I love and it’s SO GOOD!!! It didn’t read like a debut at all. I was ready for boom 2 before I even finished book 1. My review is in all the places!
A Courtship of Conspiracies (Crown & Cipher 1)
I’m obsessed with this story where an American ballerina has to marry a Duke. Bekah is an amazing author and her books are beautifully written.
Anything, Everything
I’m obsessed with Bekah’s story telling. This is a workplace/family rivals love story. It’s kind of like Romeo and Juliet.
Always, Forever
After reading this, I was all in on the Freddie & Grace Mysteries series. I’m binging them all Pepper did an AMAZING job balancing mystery, arranged marriage, romance, and faith.
Mistletoe Countess
You can’t go wrong with a novel by Courtney. This is a later in life romance and it was really well done!
Brighter than Before: A Feel-Good Novel
I love this book so much! The depth to this book was unexpected but so good. I definitely recommend this one and the rest of the series.
Britta & the Beach Boy: Sweet Romantic Comedy
5⭐️ again by Tracy. So good. I cried so many good tears. It was beautifully written.

These may or may not have spice in them. I will tell you that in my note. I don’t read anything where the spice overtakes the plot or is the whole point.
This was my top read of 2025. The political system is unique and it’s true enemies to lovers. She hates him and their arranged marriage. The book starts right after their wedding. There are 2 open door scenes but they can be skipped.
The Serpent and the Wolf (Dark Inheritance)
The world, plot…and the characters. 😍 What an ending!! 🤯 There are 2 open door scenes (not chapters) with a married couple that can be skipped if you want to do that.
Shield of Sparrows #1 - Devney Perry
I cannot explain to you how much fun this book was. After the world is destroyed by another civilization, Carl has to survive in what he discovers is a video game-like challenge underground. The humor in this book is top notch.

I have read these before giving them to my kids and don’t think there is anything to worry about in them.
I was able to have an advanced copy of this book. I wanted to preread it for my kids. My big 2 are definitely ready for this! There is nothing in it for parents to worry about. My review is posted on lots of places!
Griffin Speaker by Jan M. Flynn
This series is incredible. My oldest read it for the first time when he was 9. He had read it 3 more times in 1.5 years since then.

“The feel-good story about letting go and taking a chance on life.” Courtney is always a good author and I don’t think she can do wrong. This was not her typical book but it’s still so worth the read. It’s just as good/powerful.
