This trip was the first time out of my country and was a long trek in the rented car. If i have any advice it would be to slow down and enjoy each island and don't try to rush it all like we did.

The last half of the trip was here ending in Auckland. High light was probably Hobbiton Tour but the Island is just as beautiful as the South.
The tour isn't bad and it's interesting to see the re-creation of the movie set. Even though the whole thing is mostly accessible by chair some of it is quite dangerous for anyone not confident with their chair driving.
