A must-stay. The hotel literally overlooks the professional soccer stadium — you can watch a live match straight from your room or from the onsen (!!). The onsen itself is beautiful, peaceful, and such a relaxing experience after walking the city.

One of the best-reviewed yakitori restaurants in Nagasaki. Juicy skewers, cozy atmosphere, and super local. Great sake options too. (If it’s full, Yakitori Ichibako is another excellent option.)

The almond soft serve is chef’s kiss. Creamy, nutty, and different from the usual Japanese soft cream flavors. A perfect sweet stop.
Taiwan Tianpin Hua - Nagasaki/Chinese sweets
Nagasaki’s signature dish, champon, was invented here. The restaurant overlooks the waterfront and serves classic, comforting champon and sara udon. A must-try for a local food experience.
四海楼 (Shikairo in Nagasaki)
Another beloved spot for champon with slightly more refined flavors. Great if you want to compare two iconic versions.
Kozanro Chukagaishinkan
Nagasaki is famous for castella cake thanks to its Portuguese history. Fukusaya is one of the oldest and best — the little individually boxed slices are perfect souvenirs.
