I've always liked how every Air Max model has its own personality. This collection includes the pairs that stand out to me the most, from timeless classics to newer releases. I'm always adding new favorites whenever I find one worth recommending.

Air Max
I like that Nike kept the original Air Max 1 look instead of turning it into a completely different golf shoe. It still looks like something I'd wear off the course too.
Nike Air Max 1 '86 OG G
This is probably the Air Max I'd recommend to someone buying their first pair. It's easy to wear, and the design has barely changed for a reason.
Nike Air Max 90
I've spent way too much time playing with the Air Max 90 By You builder. Even if you don't buy a pair right away, it's fun seeing how different color combinations completely change the look.

The Air Max 95 has one of the most recognizable designs in the entire Air Max lineup. Once you notice the anatomy-inspired upper, you can't unsee it. The Big Bubble version is a cool nod to the original concept.
Nike Air Max 95 Big Bubble (Black)
The zippered lace cover gives this Air Max 95 a completely different personality. It feels like a fun throwback to the early 2000s while keeping everything that makes the 95 iconic.
Nike Air Max 95 Big Bubble (Blue)
This is what happens when the Air Max Plus meets VaporMax. I like that Nike kept the original TN cage, so it still has that unmistakable look with a much more modern sole.
Nike Air VaporMax Plus
If you're going to buy an Air Max 270, I'd seriously consider making your own. Changing the colors makes the shoe feel much more personal without losing its signature look.

I like that Nike turned the Air Max Dn into something you don't have to worry about wearing in bad weather. The zip-up cover gives it a completely different look, too.
Nike Air Max Dn Roam
I wasn't sure about these at first, but they've definitely grown on me. They're completely different from the Air Max models I usually think of.
Nike Air Max Dn
I added these because they don't look like any other Air Max. Nike could've kept making retros, but I'm glad they tried something completely new.
Nike Air Max Dn8
I'm a sucker for special editions, and this is one of the cleaner Air Max Plus releases I've seen. The France details are subtle enough that they don't take over the whole design.
Nike Air Max Plus OG "FFF"
I'm not usually into athlete editions, but this one actually feels different. If you're a Kylian Mbappé fan or just like the TN7 silhouette, it's an easy pick.
Nike Air Max Plus VII "Kylian Mbappé"
Air Force
The camo is what caught my eye. It gives the classic Air Force 1 a completely different vibe without changing the silhouette.
Air Force 1 Low
I don't usually go for denim sneakers, but these actually work. They feel different without trying too hard.
Air Force 1 '07 LV8 "Denim"
If a regular Air Force 1 feels too heavy, this is the one I'd look at. Same icon, just a completely different feel.
Nike Air Force 1 Flyknit 2.0
This isn't just another colorway. Knowing the story behind the design makes this pair a lot more meaningful.
Air Force 1 '07 x Doernbecher Freestyle "Oli"
Not something I'd wear every day, but I couldn't leave these out. The Realtree pattern makes them stand out right away.
Air Force 1 '07 RealTree
Dunk
Some sneakers never really leave the rotation. The Dunk High is one of those pairs that still feels right decades later.
Nike Dunk High Retro
The color combination is what sold me. It feels like one of those Dunks that will still look good years from now.
Nike Dunk Low Retro Premium (Light British Tan)
I always like having one all-black sneaker in the mix. Clean, simple, and probably the easiest Dunk to wear every day.
