Okay, this one is in BC but it's only a two hour drive from Alberta. Definitely worth visiting, especially during the winter. It feels like a different dimension when you're surrounded by snow but warm and cozy in the hot springs.
Radium Hot Springs
Ever wondered what it's like to walk through a Canyon? Well, in here you can!!! All while listening to the soothing sounds of the waterfall and learning some good old geology
Johnston Canyon
Fun fact: if you look closely at the waterfall, you can see a tiny rainbow!!! How cool is that? Plus you never run out of rocks to skip :D
Elbow Falls Provincial Recreation Area
I like to climb to the tippy top and feel like I rule the world. But it's wise not to do that with no experience, because the ground beneath you may crumble. Either way super cool to look at even if you're not climbing it :)
Willow Creek Hoodoos
This place is absolutely breathtaking. And the coolest part? Very very common to see wildlife roaming about including deer, elk, mountain goats and even bears and mooses! (be careful though, the roads are steep and get slippery during the winter!)

This place is fun for all ages especially for dinosaur lovers! With lots of sights to see and places to visit in the city, you don't get a chance to be bored.

Ah yes, one of my favorites. This little town is preserved in time and you get to learn so much about Alberta's history! There's so many museums and sights to see!
Heritage Park
A great place for hiking and skipping rocks, or just a quiet moment away from the crowds.
Fish Creek Provincial Park
One of the biggest parks here, you could hike for hours on the trail! So much to explore!!! One of my favorites :)
Nose Hill Park
If you love dogs, you're gonna love this park. It's an off leash dog park! They even have fun community events here! Plus a playground and splash park for little ones! So much to doooo! And view here at night is amazing!!!
Rotary Park
It baffles me how big this park really is, and how much there is to do! So many events going on here all the time!! If you like biking there's so many great trails, and don't miss out on the peace bridge!
Prince's Island Park

If you love science this museum is for you! It has attractions for all ages and even a dome theatre! And you get to experiment with almost anything you can think of.
