things to do in charlotte, nc
charlotte is a pretty big city and can get over whelming trying to explore it all. I moved to charlotte a few months ago and have had a while to try what this great city has to offer

everything that is recommended on the menu here is phenomenal
this place is like a food court, all locally owned and most used to be food courts. I love getting the dumplings at the dumpling lady
this place has amazing coffee and great vibes
this food truck has really good nashville hot chicken, the closest I've seen to getting it in nashville
great beer and great food. i always get the wings
get the spicy pork ramen and chicken karaage
everyone raves about this place, they have some amazing bbq
the wings and brisket are so good here, i get the side of mac and cheese which is bomb
this place is upscale and i highly recommend the duck
centered around fondue this place is a great dining experience
oh my soul is a completely vegan restaurant! you dont come across too many of these and it is very good
this place in plaza midwood was very good, all the featured items were so delicious I also got the barria tacos which were super good
outdoor recreation
from amusement rides to whitewater rafting. super fun things to do outdoors
this place has white water rafting, ziplining, rope courses, restaurants, trail riding and more
has the worlds tallest and fasters gigacoasters if you are a thrill seeker
play grounds, trails, disc golf, tennis
hikes
if you love being in nature and getting exercise then these hikes are great
lots of trails to go on here plus a baseball park and disc golf
i love all the trails here and most of them go to a lake
ribbonwalk has a few short hikes if you dont want to go on a super long one
museums
these are all super cool and enjoyable for all ages. from science to art
this is an interactive science museum for kids that includes an aquarium and theater
super cool museum that adults and kids can enjoy
amazing art museum and has live performances
