from upscale to mom and pops. this include all of my favorites for where to go to eat along with what I recommend
this is a big local favorite, they dont take reservations so sometimes the wait is long in the busy season but they provide entertainment while you wait and the food is worth it
upscale coastal vibe with sous vide steaks and good atmosphere, you do need a reservation
this is by far the best place to go for brunch, I highly recommend the shrimp and grits
best wings and pizza in town and super friendly staff
craving thai food? this is the way to go
if you are craving a sandwhich i would go here and get the peter porker
this place has really good coffee and you can get breakfast here too
amazing breakfast i recommend the grits and breakfast burrito. on sundays they have beignets!
very extensive menu here, its a great place for lunch and its right on the water. i always get the shrimp burrito
the best place to go for bbq I love to get the pork burnt ends
best place to go for sushi and i highly recommend getting the ika geso!

go where the locals go, these are some really great places to check out
hands down best premade meals around, highly recommend the lasagna
grab a bottle of wine and some friends and head here for a fun paint and sip
they have food but jacks is really known for its night life and have live bands every saturday
if you have kids and love coffee this is the perfect place
Outdoor Activies
everything outdoors, morehead city is really known for the fishing community and the surrounding islands
get a great adrenaline rush when you reel in a humungous fish, this charter is the best but are often booked
rent a jetski and go to the surrounding islands
take a ferry to any island you want, i recommend going to shackleford or bird shoal to find some nice shells
if your into history this is a really cool place to visit and look around and there is a trail to the beach
really cool playground for kids and has 4 tennis courts if you want to stay active
