Two years ago I had blonde shoulder length hair that wouldn’t grow past a certain length, now I get asked if I have extensions fitted on a daily basis. These are my must haves if you’re on a hair care journey!

Oils and scalp care
I use before hair wash on scalp and ends, and when I need to slick my hair back I mix this with a gel. Noticed such a difference in growth with this!
MISICH Raw Batana Oil for Hair Growth
This is what I used when I couldn’t get my hair past shoulder length and I truly believe this is what kickstarted it getting to the length it is now!
Nature Spell Rosemary Oil for Hair Growth
I add two pumps of this to my ends before I dry my hair, and then a tiny extra bit afterwards. This has nothing to do with growing my hair, but I do believe taking extra care with it has gotten it to where it is today!
John Frieda Frizz Ease The Controller Extra Strength ...
Use this before hair wash too, leave on for an hour minimum. A little goes a long way with this, if you apply too much to your scalp it will take a lot of washing out.
Pure World Natural Castor Oil 100ml Cold
Slickback tools
I’ve stopped slicking my hair back as much, however, if I need to I use this! It is the only one I buy. If you’re going to do it, use something like this with oil in, not hair sprays and mousse that will dry out your scalp.
Eco Style Moroccan Argan Oil Hair Gel
Tools & accessories
Not necessarily these ones but I use a scrunchie wherever possible if I’m at work and need my hair up. Not using those little elastic bobbles has improved my breakage so so much can not recommend enough
I try to use these as well as scrunchies to avoid elastics. So much better for breakage 💆♀️
Black Claw Clips For Thick Hair
I use these as much as possible when my hair is fresh, I have such wavy and frizz prone hair so these help me avoid heat. Work even better if you put your hair high up in a scrunchie then use one roller! Seen this on TikTok and it stays in so much be...
3 Pack Overnight Heatless Rods Curls
I use a scalp massager with batana oil before washing and I use the massager when shampooing also
Amazon.co.uk: Scalp Massagers
I use one of these each time I wash my hair to distribute the conditioner, then again after I’ve washed it out. I find this helps my hair dry quicker with no tangles (less heat)
Wide Tooth Comb Hanging
Masks & creams
I have naturally wavy hair not curly, but I believe this helps the condition my hair dries in and keeps me from having to brush it so often! Smoother hair = less detangling
Cantu Shea Butter For Natural Hair Coconut Curling ...
Use these for everything! Sometimes for a slickback, I add it to the ends of my hair when I’m oiling my scalp before washing my hair. I sometimes add it to my conditioner when I’m washing it. I just love them! So natural, full of goodness and helps w...
This is my other favourite, I actually got given these as part of a secret Santa present from work and I’ve never stopped buying them since! Highly recommend
I get dermatitis on my scalp so I have to really keep on top of that to prevent scabbing which would pull my hair out at the roots. I shampoo my hair twice each wash, this is the first one I use and I love it!
Cantu Guava Scalp Relief Shampoo 400Ml | Hair
I like to use the same brand for both, so I use this too however what I do like about it is that you can use this on your scalp without it going oily/greasy at the roots. This does mean it is gentle so for my ends I add in another conditioner as well...
Guava Scalp Relief Conditioner - Products
This or a similar one is usually what I add to the ends of my hair. My hair is naturally wavy and frizzy so I need all the help I can get and this works!
John Frieda Frizz Ease Infinite Smooth Conditioner 250ml
