I don’t have a nice mall where I live but this had so many good stores!
Westgate Mall
This is the coolest little place to stop! Has a little gift shop, a place you can sit and get a snack, a backyard patio to watch the playground for kids!
Sad Monkey Mercantile
Right on Route 66. The salsa comes out in a huge vase with chips and the portions are huge! Definitely recommend!
Braceros Mexican Grill & Bar
This was really fun to go in! Had fake horses you can get on to take pictures and so many interesting facts!
American Quarter Horse Hall of Fame & Museum
This is a beautiful place to stop right on Route 66! If you are Christian or a family member definitely take them here!

Such a cool antique store. This place is huge though and has a whole upstairs full of stuff to look at.
Alley Katz Unique Emporium
Right outside of Amarillo! This place is beautiful. We didn’t hike it but it was nice to drive through and stop at the stores and look at the view!
Palo Duro Canyon State Park — Texas Parks & Wildlife Department
This is one of the most beautiful hotels I’ve stayed in! Full fridge and freezer, kitchen, plates, pool and morning breakfast. This was near everything!
