Fun concept and interesting read. Reminded me a little of It’s a Wonderful Life. It did get a little frustratingly repetitive after a while, but overall was a good read!
The Midnight Library (The Midnight World, #1) by Matt Haig
We liked the mystery and the strong female protagonist. There were some of us who felt it was a little predictable, but not me! The ending who-done-it came as a surprise. Overall, it was a quick, enjoyable page turner.
First Lie Wins by Ashley Elston
Once you get past the absurdity of “all this for a letter of recommendation?!” You will sink into a masterful description of the underworld. Kuang blends mythology, literature, and mathematics to make the story come alive.
