“First things first! I start by gently cleansing and prepping my dry skin. A few mornings a week, I’ll also use my exfoliating pads to help with texture and dullness.”
My first step every morning! I use this to gently freshen up my skin before cleansing. My skin can be dry and sensitive, and I love that this doesn’t leave it feeling stripped or tight.
Bioderma Sensibio H2O Micellar Water
My everyday cleanser for dry skin. It gets my skin clean without that tight, squeaky-clean feeling that I absolutely do not like. My face feels soft and comfortable afterward and ready for the rest of my skincare.
La Roche-Posay Toleriane Hydrating Gentle Cleanser
I use these a few mornings a week after cleansing when my skin needs some extra help with dullness and texture. They leave my skin feeling smoother and looking brighter, and I always follow them with plenty of hydration and SPF. ✨
First Aid Beauty Brighten + Glow Facial Radiance Pads
💦 Hydrate & Treat
“This is where I layer in hydration and glow. These are the products I use to help my 40+ skin look plump, bright and refreshed before moisturizer.”
One of my favorite hydration steps! I use this right after cleansing and press it into my skin. It gives my dry skin that first layer of moisture and leaves it feeling soft and hydrated instead of tight.
BYOMA Hydrating Milky Toner
This is my morning Vitamin C serum. I added it to my routine to help with brightness and overall glow. I’m still putting this one to the test, but so far I’m really enjoying it and I’ll update my review as I keep using it! ✨
Timeless 20% Vitamin C + E Ferulic Acid Serum
I reach for these on mornings when my under-eyes look tired or puffy. They feel cooling and refreshing while I’m getting ready and give my eye area a little extra hydration before makeup. I don’t use them every day, but I love having them around for ...
Bonus: Ulta Wake-Up Call Eye Patches
This stays close by when I’m wearing makeup! If my skin or under-eye area starts looking dry or patchy during the day, I use the tiniest amount and gently tap it over the area. Such a good little rescue product for my dry skin. 🙌
Bonus: d’Alba Double Serum All-In-One Multi Balm
🧴 Moisturize & Protect
“My final skincare steps! I lock everything in with moisturizer and finish with SPF before moving on to my makeup routine.”
My morning moisturizer. I wanted something hydrating for my dry skin without being as heavy as my nighttime moisturizer. I use a light layer before SPF and it gives my skin a comfortable, hydrated base before I start my makeup.
Naturium Multi-Peptide Moisturizer
Currently testing this one! ☀️ I wanted a lightweight everyday sunscreen that would work with my dry skin and layer well underneath makeup. I’m trying this as the final step in my morning skincare routine and I’ll update this once I’ve worn it with m...
