My favorite places I always stay in Uluwatu. It's down the cliff so don't plan on a lot of luggage. It has shared rooms for around $35 and private rooms around $135. Yoga, amazing restaurant, surf, and lots of monkey's so be careful.

DreamSea next door is WAY BETTER for the price, but if they are booked, LeCliff is an option and I've stayed here as well. It just costs more. eat at DreamSea.
Le Cliff Bali
The owners are nice and will upgrade you if a better room isn't booked. Also great for people who do not want to go down the cliffs at Bingin. They have a lovely restaurant and yoga too.
The Temple Lodge
This is a great option for Uluwatu is you want a biiger hotel. I've stayed here twice and loved it both times.
Radisson Blu Bali Uluwatu
This is down the cliffs below the Radisson. I stayed here once when they had rooms for $60 as a last minute deal. Great view, but thats about it. Not much of a beach and no swimming. You could also just go there to eat at the restaurant.
I'm not sure what is going on at Bingin Beach. The government has been tearing things down, so check before you go to this beach. (Sept 2025)

This is one of those surfer vibe, been around forever places, and you should know it to be hip in Ulu, BUT the food is just okay and the store is super expensive.
