My go-to spots for a nice walk around the city - especially on a sunny day!
Map
A nature oasis in the midst of the city. A complete gem and something for everyone! My favorite route is from South Lot out to the bluffs, and down the beach and lighthouse.
Discovery Park
A classic for those days when you just need to zone out and not think about it
Green Lake Park
Not the beach! A bunch of trails and stairs to help get into hiking season gear above the beach near the dog park
Golden Gardens Park
Start at Kerry but don’t miss walking over to Parsons and Marshall park for views of the sound. Loop back around to Molly Moon’s for a sweet treat. Love strolling here during Halloween and cherry blossom season!
Kerry Park
Start in this lot for the views but don’t miss all the beautiful homes!
Magnolia Boulevard Viewpoints | Spectacular Views of Seattle
my go-to on a sunny day! See cruise ships when it’s cruise season and stunning views of the Puget sound, Olympics, rainier and space needle! Roughly 3 miles if you walk the whole thing and back
Centennial Park
Plants more your thing? Great paved trails and lots of plants to explore here
Washington Park Arboretum
Lake Washington and rainier views on a sunny day! Great spot to picnic too
Magnuson Park
Check out all the cute homes nearby and end it with sunset at the park!
