Summer in Seattle means we have to soak up our time outside and take in views of the water!
Map
Come for happy hour, stay for the sunset along the sound. We love taking family or out of town visitors here.
Ray's Boathouse
the spot to be on a sunny day! take your paddleboard out and dock up to gasworks brewing, bike the burke gilman over or drive (parking can be tough on busy days!) tends to always be a line but if you're willing to wait, you can usually find seating. ...
Gasworks Brewing
oysters, aperol and lake union on a sunny day? say less. come during in between hour and skip the formal seating and help yourself to first come first served at the bar.
Westward | Home - Seattle
looking for a more casual vibe? bowrider's is your spot. also on the waterfront with it's entrance tucked away to the side of westward, just follow the alley back and you've got a no frills, summer shack vibe going on.
Bowriders Grill
always a good time! we prefer the restaurant upstairs more than the back deck - more options and seems better bang for your buck. wait can be long on a nice summer day!
Agua Verde Cafe
my spot when we want a good marg on the water that's no fuss! walk yourself in, order via the QR code, and prepare to have a great time on the deck looking out onto lake union.
Little Water Cantina
on the pricier side but you pay for being on the waterfront. come for happy hour mon-fri between 3-5!
The White Swan Public House
is it touristy? yes. do i stil love her? also yes. you just can't beat the sweeping views here of the sound, ferris wheel and pike place. a great spot to happy hour or grab a quick drink and photo op with visitors in town!
The Nest | Rooftop Bar and Lounge in Seattle, WA
drinks along the water but you don't necessarily want to be outside? this is your spot.
Six Seven Restaurant
hawaiian food along the water with sweeping views of seattle skyline? say less! always a line and parking is tough but always worth the wait.
Marination Ma Kai
prefer the food for brunch more than dinner but salty's is my pick for taking family from out of town! take the water taxi over from downtown for some added fun!
Salty's on Alki Beach
The perfect place to wind down for a cold beer after a day of exploring Pike Place!
Old Stove Brewing Co — Pike Place
Little Ben’s, the rooftop to Ben Paris at Thompson Hotel, officially opened up to the public for the summer and is a quaint outdoor oasis overlooking the market!
Ben Paris
this space is stunning! cocktails are on the pricier side but well worth the money and strong!
