These are the tools you buy once. You put them in your bedside table instead of the garage for a few weeks just so you can look at it, pick it up and hold it. You do not loan these tools to your neighbor. You pass these down to your children.

These books all offer a little bit for everyone. Not only do you want to flip through them, but they are big beautiful books that add something visually appealing to any room. They are conversation starters. They command attention. They bring up feelings of nostalgia.

I love a good war book. I love a good western. Nothing pleases me more than curling up to a book on geopolitics. These books are full of stuff that you do not learn in school. They add unique perspective to topics that we thought we knew inside and out. I will be adding to this list continuously.

Chattanooga is the best town east of the Mississippi. It is a mecca for outdoor activities. It is becoming a foodie town. It has over a dozen breweries. Scenic City is worth a visit.
