The backpack is probably the first thing she'll have an opinion about. I wanted to give her a few choices because what feels cute and exciting in 6th grade can change very quickly. These are options I'd feel good sending her to school with — roomy, practical, and still fun enough for her to love.
This is the one I'd pick if she wants something pretty and feminine but still feels grown-up enough for middle school. I love that it has room for everything she'll need without looking like a little-kid backpack.
