I’ve been a luke warm Christian for a good chunk of my life and trust me I thought I was living life but honestly I was drowning in hurt, pain and trying to satisfy my soul with things of this world but Jesus saved me! He showed me His unfailing, beautiful and infinite love for me; now I burn with the desire to live my life pleasing onto Him and to deepen our intimacy and share His love with others <3 Ps. My new fond relationship with Jesus didn’t change me overnight but with time spent in The World, constant prayer, fasting and feeding my spirit with good Christ centered mediums (social media [content creators], podcast, books, etc) ‘spiritual food’, I was guided by the Holy Spirit and convicted to the habits I had that were once quote on quote normal to me. I want to share The Good News to everyone and the ones wanting more of Jesus and burning to grow closer and more with God. Trust me I still have a long way to go, I’m still growing and learning in Christ but I’ve come a long way! Now these recs are books, podcast, Bible studies, Christ center music that help me deepen my relationship with Christ and still to this day. Remember the first step to growing in Christ is studying “The Word” aka “The Bible” on your own, daily reading scripture and not only reading the Bible on special occasions. These recs are 100% suspense-filled, thrilling mysteries, unpredictable and unexpected jaw dropping twists, and witty banter that had me laughing till I couldn’t breathe. I truly was never BORED! Stories that transformed conversations into movie-worthy moments in my mind; all thanks to the phenomenal narration of these audiobooks.
