This tour is very exhausting 😅 but also veeeery beautiful. This takes you through 7 hidden beaches in Samaná with a 2 km walk and connecting with nature. Aléjate con Ale is the tour company I recommend the most for this.

This is hands-down my favorite place in the whole country, the sea looks like a pool! You can see the bottom from the surface even if you're well into the sea. It's just magical. Alejate con Ale offers a tour that goes to this place and it's amazing.

The Oviedo Lagoon is a both amazing and practical place. The views are breathtaking, specially the flamingos. And the lagoon water has sulfonated mud that serves as a great exfoliant.

This place is a series of natural pools whose water flows directly from the top of a mountain, and it's extremely cold. Perfect for summer!
Balneario Villa Miriam, Barahona
This is a precious natural pool in Neiba, the water is also very cool and very suited for summer. Another gem for sure.
El Hoyo de Felipe, Barahona
This is a hidden beach in the South of the country, people usually camp there because to reach it you must walk a couple of miles of pure nature. One of my favorites!
