Long book but so worth the read. A mysterious dome comes down over a small town trapping everyone inside. Corrupt town leaders and people with ulterior motives turn the town dark.
Under the Dome: A Novel - Stephen King
One of the only books that had me actually scared reading it alone. Told from the perspective of a child who has been communicating with an entity she calls “Other Mommy” who lives in her closet.
