As a Kansas City resident for nearly a decade AND a transplant, I have stayed in my fair share of Kansas City hotels. My family has as well. KC truly has so many special neighborhoods, which is why I split up this list into sections by neighborhood. If you are asking for my favorite area, I would say the Plaza. It holds a special place in my heart, because I lived there for 5 years and have so many wonderful memories there. Enjoy your next trip to KC!

My husband and I were married in Kansas City in 2025. We toured a lot of wedding venues in our search to find the perfect spot for our special day. In the process, we found so many wonderful wedding venues in the area.
