Tufting Supplies needed
Tufting requires more then just the tufting gun to get you started. You will also need tools to help with finishing such as glue, razor, and scissors. The most expensive part of tufting is using good quality yarn.
This tufting kit is a great starter. The gun is easy to use. The frame works great for small projects. Company was great when something went wrong with my gun they sent me a new one.
Tufting Kit H1 Lite | Lightweight, Nail-Free Frame
This tufting cloth works great when pulled tight on a frame. It is easy to cut and the lines help keep your design looking good.
DABLINE 80" x 80" Large Overlocking Tufting
This backing works great. It keeps the rug from slipping. It is easy to apply to the back with some adhesive spray. Cuts nice with scissors.
BESGEER 80x80 Rug Backing Antislip Tufting
Using carpet adhesive on the back of the tufted projects helps hold the project all together.
ROBERTS Indoor/Outdoor Carpet Adhesive - 4 Gal. (15.14 L)
These are not made for tufting but, they work great for threading the tufting gun. The bright color handels help you find them on your table.
10 Pcs Hair Extension Loop Needle Threader
This yarn cake winder works great to get your yarn ready to use when tufting. The yarn needs to pull easy or the tufting gun will not work good. I make cakes for almost all my tufting projects.
Etcokei Electric Yarn Winder Auto Compact
These scissors are very helpful for sculpting your tufting projects.
6" Duckbill Scissors for Art & Craft
Using a projector you can project designs on the tufting canvas. Then trace and mark the design.

Use a spackle knife to spread the carpet glue on the back of your designs in a thin layer.
Rerdeim 5Pcs Putty Knife Set 1"-5" Scraper
I use a glue gun to glue back the edges and make sure the backing is glued down good.
