an absolute must-see museum in CDMX. it's located in a stunning historical building that is worth seeing in itself.
National Art Museum
amazing museum located in a beautiful old mexican estate. tons of works by Diego Rivera and Frida Kahlo. the gardens are filled with peacocks and dogs :)
Museo Dolores Olmedo
crazy museum designed by Diego Rivera. built from volcanic rock! the building itself is a blend of modern and ancient architectural styles and is absolutely jaw dropping to see in person

beautiful studio where Diego Rivera and Frida Kahlo lived and worked. the architecture is gorgeous, and the spaces feel like an intimate insight into the lives of them.
Museo Casa Estudio Diego Rivera y Frida Kahlo
not a traditional art museum, but it's a stunning example of colonial architecture and has some incredible sculptures and paintings. right in the heart of the city.
Mexico City Metropolitan Cathedral
a short drive outside Mexico City that is absolutely worth visiting. teotihuacan is an ancient city with monumental pyramids, and the art and architecture here are a breathtaking look into what life was like.
