My first pedal exerciser sounded like a bike chain dragging across gravel during a Zoom call. I almost gave up on the whole idea. These are the ones that let you pedal without your coworkers or family hearing a thing.

Nobody warned me that pedaling in a regular office chair would make my tailbone feel like it was bruised. Once I paired the right cushion with my setup, I could actually pedal for hours without shifting around constantly.

Some days I alternate between standing and sitting while working. Standing on hard floors in socks while using a standing desk was destroying my heels. These mats changed the whole rotation.

Once I started pedaling at my desk, I realized my whole setup needed adjusting. My monitor was too low, my wrists ached, and my water bottle kept falling off the desk from the vibration. These fixes locked everything in.

Pedaling six hours at low resistance sounds easy until day three when your calves feel like rocks. I didn't expect to need recovery tools for desk exercise but here we are. These keep me from waking up stiff.
