The whole reason I started this search. My old scale had a display the size of a postage stamp and I was done pretending I could read it from five feet up.

Bending over to read a scale gets old fast, especially if you have back issues on top of bad eyesight. These just tell you the number out loud.

Sometimes the best display isn't on the scale at all. These send your weight straight to your phone where you can zoom in, read it in bed, whatever you want.

My bathroom has one overhead light that barely qualifies as illumination. Reading a scale in there used to require a flashlight, which is a level of effort nobody should deal with before breakfast.

Nothing ruins a weigh-in like wobbling on a tiny platform while trying to focus on the display. A wider base means you stand still and actually catch the number the first time.

I went through two cheap scales in one year. Both gave inconsistent readings and one just stopped turning on. These are the ones that actually stuck around.
