I used to wrap peeled garlic in plastic wrap and pray. By day two my butter tasted like a pizzeria. These actually contain the stink and keep cloves fresh way longer than I expected.

I bought so many containers that claimed to be airtight but let smells leak like a screen door. These are the ones that passed the “stick your nose right up to it” test after three days of leftover curry.

I was throwing away soggy lettuce and wrinkly peppers every single week. Felt like I was composting half my grocery bill. These containers bought me an extra four to five days on most produce.

Half my waste problem was just not seeing what I had. Stuff got pushed to the back, forgotten, and discovered weeks later looking like a science experiment. These made everything visible without a full fridge excavation.

I kept a box of baking soda in there for years thinking it was doing something. Spoiler: it was doing almost nothing. These actually neutralize smells instead of just sitting there looking responsible.

Plastic wrap never stuck to anything, tore constantly, and didn't seal well enough to stop smells from escaping. Switching to silicone covers was one of those “why didn't I do this years ago” moments.
