All things feeding
My own recommendations when it comes to feeding your little one. As a mama who is solely expressing and bottle feeding, these are some bits I found that helped. I’ve tried to keep it budget friendly where possible, as saving money on maternity is alw...
I’ll be honest - initially I wanted the Momcozy breast pumps. But being on maternity leave & struggling with limited funds, I found these on a review site and decided to give them a go. I paid around £70 for the pair, and although they aren’t the...
Jheppbay Wearable Electric Breast Pump
Before moving on to electric pumps, I gave a few manual ones a try. This one was the best of three, and really helped get my milk established. A decent price, around £30, and worked really well!
Philips Avent Manual Breast Pump Gift Set
One thing I recommend buying in bulk - milk storage bags. These can be kept in the fridge or the freezer, and help you build up a bit of a supply just in case. Definitely cheaper to buy off amazon that in the shops, and you get a much larger supply t...
100 Pcs 250ml Breast Milk Storage Bags
One thing I didn’t know I needed until it came to it. What are you supposed to store your milk in? I bought these when my little one was around a week old, and they contain the perfect amount for each feed. Small and compact, and don’t take up much r...

Keeping your little one happy
All anyone wants is for their little one to be happy and healthy. Here’s a few suggestions of things we found that helped keep our little one entertained when we needed it.
Okay, hear me out. I will admit this one isn’t the most budget friendly BUT our little one loved it. We picked one up in the sale for around £100, but it usually sells for around £150. Definitely worth the money and gives us a bit of a break when we ...
Joie Sansa Rocker Cosmo Tan
Just trust me and buy these. I thought they were a gimmick, and baby didn’t need them. But I picked some up super cheap on Vinted and my little one loves them. He can focus on them for a good while, and really helps to keep him entertained.
Newborn Essentials Black & White Baby Sensory Cards
Keeping you sane!
Yes, your baby is important. BUT so are you. Look after yourself mama.
And remember, it’s okay to treat yourself sometimes too.
One a lot of mums swear by. I didn’t believe it till I tried it. You NEED this if you are breastfeeding or expressing. Just trust me.
HPA® Lanolin Nipple Cream
Another one I swear by. Yes, they aren’t recommended for breast feeding mama’s but the odd one hasn’t hurt me or my little one. Just takes the edge off when you’re running on very little sleep, and they taste delicious too.
Monster Energy | Energy Drinks, Coffee, Tea and Juice
One I would never have thought about. A friend bought me some toiletries as a pick me up after giving birth, and I’m so thankful she did. Take the time to look after you when you can - even if it’s just a quick everything shower, or if you’re lucky, ...
