This is a fun book to read and it lets you naturally talk about how we treat animals in the wild.
A Bear, a Bee, and a Honey Tree
I love that this has all the Bear, Moose and Beaver books in one place. It's hardcovered and has survived many camping trips! We like to read it for our camping bedtime book.
Life in the Wild: Adventures of Bear & Moose
This is a fun book for girls (and boys, honestly). My daughter is great at getting outside but she is cautious. We used this book to talk about just doing the thing and seeing how it goes.
Do Princesses Wear Hiking Boots?
This is a book we reread a lot. It's silly and cute but also teaches the lesson that you don't always have to do everything with your friends.
Norman and the Smell of Adventure
I love the rhyming in this book! It's fun for me to read and my daughter giggles. Plus it's a great excuse to talk about the proper way to set up camp safely.
A Camping Spree with Mr. Magee
