Things I use to do my nails at home! After a few too many unfortunate salon experiences I decided to start doing my own nails at home. As a beginner I don't need the fanciest or most expensive products- I just need things that will work! Everything b...
Game changer for nails at home. Gel all the way! These colors are so cute and I like that the bottles are smaller so I don't end up with wayyy too much polish. I've beeen loving these colors for adding little floral details to my nails!
Beetles Gel Polish Manicure Kit with Led Light
The learning curve is worth it! I'm wearing these right now. I got way better results doing these myself than at the salon.
Beetles Gel Polish Nail Extension Kit, Medium Almond
A good beginner builder gel! If nail tips aren't your thing, Builder In A Bottle (AKA builder gel or BIAB) is the next best thing. I love this stuff for growing or protecting my natural nails.
Beetles Builder Nail Gel for Nails
Perfect for beginners. Makes soaking off your gels WAY easier- you can also achieve a dry manicure (no acetone). If you're doing gels at home, you need an E-File!
MelodySusie Electric Nail Drill
Not just for nail art. These are great for cleaning up your edges and getting up next to the cuticle.
Gel Polish Nail Brushes
Great for those of us who hate cutting foil and wrapping cotton balls. They're really convenient!
Tongcloud Nail Polish Remover Foil Wraps
So obsessed with this. Perfect for travel, no drips or leaking bottles, tons of colors to choose from. I have two of these- one in Keep It Lowkey and one in Vintage Season!
Modelones Gel Solid Gel Polish Set - 21 Colors
The perfect peachy-nude base! This formula is the BEST builder gel I've found. SO good and so many colors!
Kokoist Peach Base Builder Gel
Amazing builder gel formula. I love the clear for a natural nail look but it's also great for layering under polishes! No separate base or primer needed.
Kokoist Clear Base Builder Gel
Literally the perfect top coat. It stays glossy and clear- it never gets dull or cloudy. It makes glitter and chrome pop and cures really hard. I wore this for three weeks and had zero chipping! It's the best🥹
Ultra Glossy Non Wipe Top Coat Gel
I have this on my desk right now! It's a true oil, so it'll leave your fingers a bit slippery. The bottle is huge and it takes probablyy two drops to get all my fingers. It's a great value and perfect for bedtime. It also comes in a bunch of scents!
Cuccio Cuticle Oil - Milk & Honey
The cuticle oil sinks in quickly and doesn't leave your fingers greasy! The cuticle remover really just softens your cuticles and makes it easier to push them back and gently exfoliate the dead skin away. It doesn't remove everything on its own.
LONDONTOWN Cuticle Care Duo
Definitely a splurge, but so worth it if it's in your budget. This collects dust as you file away your gel, keeping your space cleaner. It also helps stop you from breathing in nail dust. Before I got one I wore a mask! Sometimes I still do.
Nail Dust Collector - MelodySusie
These are more gentle on your nails than the traditional metal pusher. There are pros and cons to each, but they're a great option if your cuticles are more sensitive or your nails are damaged.
Wood Cuticle Pusher
It's nice to have a good cuticle pusher around. This one will last forever and is much more durable than wooden pushers. Just be careful not to scratch your nails!
Cuticle Pusher & Spoon Nail Cleaner - Stainless Steel
