items As an avid Trader Joe’s shopper, I always try the latest seasonal items. Up right now is fall and we have some heavy hitters!!!! Don’ts are hard to come by at Trader Joe’s in my opinion.
8/10 great flavor, a lot of gummy with very little filling. The green is decently sour and both have good apple taste
Juicy Apple Gummy Candy
8/10 more of a pasta dish than a Mac and cheese. Very rich and creamy, love the shape of the noodles. A little heavy on the herb flavor personally but overall good.
Butternut Squash Mac & Cheese
10/10 exactly the flavor it says. A little salty but mostly strong maple flavor. Great consistency.
Salted Maple Cold Foam Creamer
6/10 the texture inside is too paste like and the pasta was a bit tough. Flavor was decent, very pumpkin forward filling.
Honey Roasted Pumpkin Ravioli
8/10 goes very well with a filled pasta like ravioli. Texture is very smooth and the taste is squash forward in a good way.
Autumnal Harvest Creamy Pasta Sauce
100/10 pumpkin ice cream flavor is perfect and the ginger snap cone just sends it over the top. Could eat them all myself in one sitting.
Sweet on Trader Joe's Sunday: Pumpkin Ginger Hold the Cone
10/10 the slightly chunky texture is great for holding the flavor and giving a good bite. I used it on top of vanilla yogurt with granola, wow. Also plan to use in a matcha latte next. Definitely wish it was year round.
Apple Pie Spread
5/10 the pumpkin flavor is lost on this one. The topping tasted very sweet but was not giving caramel flavor. The saving grace was my overall love for Kringle and the unique texture of the pastry. (Found at Trader Joe’s)
Pumpkin Caramel Kringle - O&H Danish Bakery of Racine Wisconsin
8/10 pumpkin flavor is there but mild. Works very well for French toast bake as it soaks up the egg custard perfectly.
Pumpkin Brioche Twist
8.5/10 pairs well the apple yogurt to make a little parfait. The texture of the apples were a little off. Not too sweet which i enjoy in granola.
Honeycrisp Apple Granola
9/10 don’t sleep on this one. Very smooth texture, excellent on the pumpkin brioche twist bread or any toast. Would also be great added to a vanilla yogurt or ice cream.
Pumpkin Butter
10/10 makes the most delightful toast. Small pieces of apple throughout give it great flavor but doesn’t impact the texture. Pairs well with plain butter or also a light spread of cream cheese.
