Passive: Data Selling Apps

Your data is already being sold. Every time you click something on google, every time you allow a website to see your location, your data is stolen and sold.  Why not get a cut of the profits?  These apps and browser extensions will pay you 50-150 dollars a year for your data.

Caden is probably the best data selling app.  It's certainly the best one I use.  It's easy to set up and pays relatively well.  I make 40.8 cents a day off of it, for a yearly return of 150 dollars.  Use code 4E39CC for two dollars on sign up.

REKLAIM doesn't pay that well, to be frank.  I'm making a dollar a week off of it, and setting it up is quiet a bit more work than setting up Caden.  That said, passive income is passive income.  Use the following link for a dollar on sign up: https:link.reklaimyiurs.com/Yy07Md06LLb

I can't speak much for this one, because it only works in the UK and I do not live there.  I'm only putting this here so anyone interested can find it.

Datacy is a browser extension that will collect data in the background. After 15 days, it will start selling your data. When it does, it will show you to whom it is selling it and for how much. You get a cut of this.

Passive: Bandwidth Sharing Apps

The majority of people do not utilize all of their bandwidth, leaving it to go to waste.  With these apps you can sell that excess bandwidth at a rate of 20 cents a gigabyte.  It's not the biggest payout, but after you set it up, you don't need to put any work into it.

This is my preferred bandwidth harvester, as I get the most traffic on it.  Once set up, it will run in the background and you don't need to put any effort into it.  Using my link: https://r.honeygain.me/JAKEC78564 will get you three dollars on sign up (the default is two).

Pawns works pretty much the same as honeygain.  I get less traffic on it, but you can run both at the same time so you don't really need to worry about that.  Use the link: https://pawns.app/?r=6122498 for a dollar on sign up and on your first and second withdrawal (three dollars total).

Mysterium Network only pays out in crypto, but you can just sell that crypto immediately if you want.  It also doesn't have a referral code.

Traffmonetizer works the same as pawns and honeygain, but instead of paying out through paypal or bitcoin it pays through wire or Tron (a cryptocurrency).

Salad is the most profitable of the ones on here, but it is also the most resource intensive.  It's so resource intensive, in fact, that you can't even use it without a gaming computer.  If you can use it, expect to be making in the 30-50 dollars a month range.  This is because on top of being a bandwidth sharing app, it also lets you turn your computer into a crypto mining rig.  This can be turned off, but it's also where most of the money comes from.  They pay in USD through paypal.

Passive: Advertising Extensions

Every year hundreds of billions of dollars are spent on advertising.  You, the consumer, are the end product of those billions and yet you don't see a single penny of them.  Why not get your fair slice of the pie?  These extensions will help with that.

Jake Summer profile picture
Slice will put small ads in the corner of your screen and pay you roughly a quarter of a cent for each one.  You don't need to interact with them, and to be frank, they are unobtrusive enough that I couldn't tell you about a single one.  Sadly, the frequency I get ads isn't that high, so in the three weeks I have been using it, I have only made 38.5 cents.  However, the creator has said that as the platform grows, they will be able to negotiate better payments from advertisers and thus pay better.  They claim they are also working on a bandwidth sharing feature, which I look forward to.

UPAID is a browser extension that would provide advertisers with information on you. This would allow them to give you ads targeted at your interests.  Advertisers want this because it increases the chances of the ad working and are willing to pay a premium for it.  Upaid would pay you a cut of that premium.  Unfortunately, Upaid does not yet have a userbase large enough for advertisers to bother and is currently on a waitlist.  Even if you don't want to use Upaid, I would appreciate it if you signed up for the waitlist just to increase the chances of it suceeding.

Semi-Passive: Receipt Scanning and Cash-Back Apps

Many different apps will pay for pictures of your receipts.  They then aggregate this data and use it to understand purchasing trends.

Jake Summer profile picture
For every month you scan ten receipts, you will get a ten dollar amazon gift card.  This is unfortunately on a waitlist, so you will need to download the app and check on it every once and a while.

Pogo pays at a rate of one cent per receipt, with a bonus of 2.5 cents if you scan seven or more in a week.  You can also link various account (target, walmart, etc) to have the receipts scanned automatically.  You can also link a credit card to automatically scan anything purchased with it.  You won't make much money with this, but it's also not much work.

CoinOut is basically the same thing as Pogo, but in exchange for not being able to link a card you get higher payout rates.  If you meet the conditions, you can get up to five cents per receipt. It's still not much, but it's something.

If you link a card to Benjamin, they will give you .1% cash back.  You can also watch ads for money, play games, and answer surverys. However, the rewards for playing games and answering surveys is pretty bad compared to other places, so I only use it for the ads and cash back.

Freecash is a get-paid-to site, which means that it will pay you to complete offers.  Offers can range from playing a game, to completing surveys, to signing up for a bank account.  I have made roughly 270 dollars off of it in the past two weeks (the picture says 30 days, but I haven't been using it for 30 days).  If you do decide to use Freecash, I recommend the tiktok offer, the coinbase offer and the anagram yatzy offer.  Tiktok and coinbase are quick and easy, and nothing stops you from using a scrabble work finder of the anagram yatzy offer.
