We love ziplining and the forest around Whistler is a fantastic spot to give it a try. Watch out for bears below!
Ziplining
Whistler has a brilliant winter sports complex including a bobsled track. We stopped by the watch the pros training but you can even book your own experience to get on the track.
Bobsleighing
The forests around Whistler are home to loads of black bears and we even spotted one in the middle of town. You can take jeep tours through the woods to go and spot them. We'd recommend one here: gyg.me/1rmYAwPb
Bear Viewing
Take a trip up into the mountains to take in the scenery, hike or ski. The gondolas are a wonderful way to head up here.

Take an ATV tour or an off-road buggy tour to get out of the town and into the beautiful wilderness.

If you're here during winter make the most of the snow and take a snowmobile tour. We did this once in Finland and it is honestly one of the best things we've ever done!

The Sea to Sky Highway linking Vancouver and Whistler is simply beautiful. Make a stop halfway to ride the Sea to Sky Gondola up into the mountains. We hear the views are amazing - on our visit it was thick fog so time it carefully!

Another stop on the Sea to Sky Highway on the way up to Whistler. This was actually fascinating and we went inside a real mine on a minetrain and the kids loved panning for gold!

A lovely roadside stop on the Sea to Sky Highway on the way up to Whistler. This was quite a quick and easy stop but well worth doing!
Shannon Falls Provincial Park
Another roadside stop on the way up to Whistler. This one is a little more of a walk but very doable with young kids. The waterfall is simply spectacular!
