It can be so hard to find big enough cages, so here are some that are, or are the minimum. I prefer metal over wood since hamsters can chew wood, but it really all depends on your hamster.






















It can be hard to find a proper diet for hamsters, you can make your own but you need to put time into learning how to do that






























It's the best to offer both a bowl and bottle, it's best to stay away from one with hide holes since most of the time they are too small










Hamsters should be scattered fed, but having a small bowl can help you monitor their appetite. Some of these deeper food dishes can also be used as water dishes.































These are all healthy treats but that doesn't mean that you should overfed them.
















Make sure you get the proper sizing for your species of hamster, some hamsters do better on different materials as well.

Hamsters are prey animals they need hides to feel safe































Soft hay in small amounts is safe for hamsters, but willow and seagrass are much safer,r so limit the amount of hay you give them. I would suggest only using them out of cage time so you can watch them and make sure they aren't chewing too much of it...


























































Chews are great for helping your hamster's teeth health and also to keep them busy you can make your own out of carboard too



















These are great for making sure your hamster isn't bored since they are more for than just chewing or walking on these can make your hammy think by foraging or solving things for food or treats


Paper bedding is often the best but there are a few other options




















Hamsters need sand to groom themselves, they do not need water bathes












Having 3 or more substrates in their cage will allow them to have different textures to play with to help imitated all the different textures they run over in the wild






































These are great for keeping sand and other substrates in once place and easier to clean










You can use a playpen, bathtub, larger carrier, or a very safe place for out of cage time. You should give them things to play with and hide to make the time most fun for them.
