Austin is a food lover’s dream, offering a diverse culinary scene that spans everything from barbecue joints and food trucks to upscale dining experiences.
I love the high-quality sushi, minimalist decor, and friendly service so much that I’ve celebrated three birthdays at the Cedar Park location. There’s also another location further south in Austin.

I’ve had dinner at Hestia at least half a dozen times, and each experience has been exceptional. The atmosphere strikes the perfect balance, it's sophisticated yet welcoming.

This restaurant has great food and friendly, customer-focused service. Since they don’t take reservations, I recommend going early to avoid a wait.
Gumbo Shop
I first discovered this restaurant on a food tour during my initial trip to NOLA and returned for dinner on my second visit. The atmosphere is lively, and the food is great!

Outstanding seafood paired with an elegant dining experience. There’s a smart casual dress code, and I recommend checking the website for details.
GW Fins
A fabulous restaurant with exceptional food and a lively atmosphere. The rack of lamb was undoubtedly one of the best lamb dishes I've ever had.
Cafe Sbisa
I highly recommend this Garden District restaurant for brunch. Just 15 minutes from the French Quarter, it's definitely worth the trip.
Atchafalaya Restaurant
A must try in NOLA. You’ll have a unique dining experience. I highly recommend it for dinner.

The perfect destination for a relaxing getaway filled with unique shops, delicious food, and cultural experiences. The area is also home to numerous wineries and vineyards worth visiting.

I recommend exploring the Blue Hole Regional Park and browsing the small shops in the downtown area. If you're interested in a weekend getaway, the Creekhaven Inn & Spa is the place to go.
