Children's books that began my quest of life
The books that shaped my childhood by making me start to question what I was being taught by my elders
I love Percys narrative of the Greek gods. This author has helped me explore Hellenistic paganism by simply telling me the story of the Greek gods
Percy Jackson's Greek Gods by Rick Riordan, Paperback
One of my favorite book series since I was a child I don't support the author but I love the books
Harry Potter | Official home of Harry Potter, Hogwarts Sorting, and the ...
Another great series by Rick Riordan for those of any age aimed mainly at children
39 Clues
This was the first book that got me interested in reading. My adopted mom used to read it to mention and had me practice small sentences in it
The Trumpet of the Swan
My first chapter books I read on my own. I definitely had her attitude at her age 😂. Definitely great for the "mouthy" kids.
Junie B. Jones
Ya books to start questioning reality with
Books that made me question everything I knew as a teenager
Aimed as a teen book is still great for adults. There's a ton of action and romance
The Mortal Instruments Series by Cassandra Clare
The perfect combination of Percy Jackson and Harry Potter. The path of magic and paganism is beautifully combined. Teaches both facts and fiction and the wierd mix that is life 🧬
The Secrets of the Immortal Nicholas Flamel Series by Michael Scott
A classic book series that is a bit long but is better than the movies. Honestly if you read this you will definitely get the hype of the movies. The parts that are in here but not in the movies make up for the length
Full list of Lord of the Rings books : r/lotr
If you are going to read Lord of the rings you have to include the Hobbit series. This tells of the time briefly before the LORT but is definitely worth the extra read
The Hobbit: Classic Fantasy Novel & Prelude
The perfect beginner dark romance 😂 because what is more toxic than unaliving yourself over a person in essentially a coma for that person to wake up and see your body and unalive themselves because of what you did
Romeo and Juliet - Entire Play
Romance books to help define your sexuality and gender expression
My adult indulgence
If you love Disney and alternative universe this is for you. Imagine Captain hook being good and incredibly Handsome if this floats your boat and HOOKS your attention grab it
Hooked (Never After, #1) by Emily McIntire
Definitely for those who think villains get the raw end of the deal From the basic of Jasmine and Jafar to Aurora and Maleficent they interact with each other in an adult dungeon
Wicked Villains Series by Katee Robert
Perfect cross of romance and Percy Jackson. Takes the modern style of Percy Jackson and the mythos of Hercules and makes it romantic
The 12 Hunks of Herculeia (Monstrously Mythic, #1) by C. Rochelle
Definitely one for the werewolf lovers. Two alphas and an omega in heat. Just one bed what is going to happen 😁
The Bullied Omega: Rejected Mate ~ Reverse Harem
Spicy alert 😁 definitely not for the weak hearted 😂not anything like the classic. Mafia boss style and forbidden love yes but add S&M
My Dark Romeo (Dark Prince Road, #1) by Parker S. Huntington
Religious books to help you question Christianity
My bible thumper faze
Honestly one of the better Christian books. It introduces the various scriptures on why different denominations think this going to happen in a very realistic situation
Left Behind Series by Tim LaHaye
Always makes me question my beliefs. It is debatable whether this is based off a true story but I can totally see it happening 😉.
The Shack: Where Tragedy Meets Eternity
Perfect blend of religion trauma and fantasy. Dragons and bible stories from the rapture to the beginning of time this author captures it all
Dragons in Our Midst Series by Bryan Davis
Good ya romance for Christians. The classic Renaissance romance novel but add that pure Christian spice
Books Archive | Melanie Dickerson, New York Times Bestselling Romance Author
idc these are for any religion even if they're based off Christianity. The movies are in the wrong order but these books go in order of creation of Narnia to its bittersweet ending
