Step 1: If you're in the nighttime routine, you already have this cleanser. Gentle, soothing, and helps remove residual oiliness from overnight.
Heartleaf Pore Control Cleansing Oil
Step [2a]: Not for everyday, since it can cause irritation and dryness with overuse. I use this about 2x per week. Right before applying your actives. Let it dry.
Glycolic Acid 7% Exfoliating Toner
Step 2: Niacinamide and TXA to improve hyperpigmentation.
Anua Niacinamide 10 + TXA 4 Serum
Step 3: The best brightening serum I have ever used. Contains vitamin C, E, and Ferulic Acid (antioxidant). Truly lives up to its name.
MAELOVE Glow Maker Vitamin C Serum
Step 4: And voilà! Sunscreen to top it all off. I've tested dozens and this is the best combination of protection and moisturizing. Doesn't flake or cake. Doesn't streak. Serves as a great makeup base.
Round Lab Birch Juice Sunscreen
[Alt.]: Alternative sunscreen. This one is a little thicker and a better makeup base, but IMO is less moisturizing than Round Lab.
SKIN1004 Hyalu-Cica Water-Fit Sun Serum SPF50
[Alt.]: Alternative sunscreen. This one is just as moisturizing, gentle, and protective as Round Lab, but not as good of a makeup base.
Beauty of Joseon Sunscreens
[Alt.]: Alternative skin-prep toner to Step 2a. I use this about every other day (unless using an acid-based toner). Much gentler than The Ordinary glycolic acid toner.
