I am a high school student with a 4.0 UW GPA, and I’ve been studying every week since 6th grade. Throughout the years, I have refined my study methods. Hopefully one of these apps can help you!

You’ve definitely heard of Notion, but if you haven’t tried it, I definitely recommend! The UI may seem confusing, but it’s super easy and intuitive to learn. I like to write my Science and History notes on Notion — highly recommend using columns to ...
Notion
A simpler version of Notion if you don’t need big databases and the like.

Note-taking
Notion and RemNote can also be in this section but it’s not advertised as such.
The best app for notetaking on iPad and Android. A good alternative to Goodnotes.
Kilonotes
Seems a little complicated, but really good for huge databases/studying something super heavy with multiple points of connection. It kinda creates mind maps for you and if integrated, can boost your workflow. Make sure to upload to a drive if switchi...
Obsidian
I don’t use Quizlet personally, but a LOT of my friends do, and they do well at school. It’s genuinely preference and good to try everything.
Quizlet
If you use Quizlet, I highly recommend using this website as a pair with Quizlet as they have good decks.

Flashcards
Gizmo is great for topics that have a closer deadline and you can’t afford making your own flashcards. The image/pdf to note feature is incredibly useful. The only problems I have with this website/app is that sometimes they generate too many flashca...> language.
Gizmo
Amazing for heavy memorization. I highly recommend using the type to answer function. It may seem kinda intimidating, but I’ve found it works better than Quizlet and other similar sites. Love love love.
Anki
Good app for sharing your notes with other students and easy to print. Easy to understand, but I don’t use the flashcard feature much because I’m too used to Anki.

YouTube Music
Will teach you better than your teachers
YouTube
Can convert notes to podcasts. It’s kinda vague so I wouldn’t recommend only using it, and it’s also kinda cringey. But it’s helpful haha
Google NotebookLM
Making Kahoots with your friends can be very fun, and if you get competitive and play multiple times, it’s easy to remember the answers (make sure to scramble order)
Kahoot!
Doesn’t have to be this site, but setting a timer can really help (for some people)
Pomodoro Timer
Any site is okay! I highly recommend using some AI to ask you questions or generate a quiz based on the transcript.
Youtube to Transcript
One of my favorite online timers/clock to use. If you have nothing to put on your screen, or you have an extra screen, this website is pretty cool as it comes with a task list as well.
