Card protection
Card protection basics. I use everything I’ve recommended on cards I buy and sell.
First layer of keeping cards safe. It’s a plastic protective sleeve. Cards can still be damaged why I also recommend using top loaders
Penny Sleeves - Amazon.com
Keeps the card protected even further with a hard plastic. I recommend using both penny sleeves and top loaders on your favorites to give them the most protection
Top Loaders - Amazon.com
Keeps the cards protected even further. This allows for you to keep your cards into an easily identifiable format.
Top Loader Binder, 9 Pocket, Holds 360 3x4 Toploaders
Amazing binders for cards just in penny sleeves allows for the cards to be organized and protected in a viewable format.
All Binders – Vault X US
Virtual collection,grading and price guiding
I recommend these four apps as I actively use them for my personal collection. I have been spending many hours reorganizing and creating a better system with these.
Amazing app. I’ve been in since its beta days. It allows for you to create virtual binders/ collections and connect more with the tcg communities
Does require a subscription however app will give you an idea of grades for cards before actually submitting them for grading.
Digital Grading Co - App Store - Apple
For bulk scanning of cards allows for them to be added to inventory or personal collection
MTG & TCG Card Scanner Stand with LED Light
App allows for you to scan the card and see recently sold prices along with the graded card sells.
PriceCharting App: Price & Collection Tracking for Games, Cards ...
Card purchases
I recommend both of these for card purchases as I’ve bought many cards from both. I’ve had good experiences with the purchase. The websites are usually really accurate on the quality of the cards. Whatnot does have an auction style too you can find m...
I highly recommend this site if you are looking for any singles or a specific card. It has a downside of not always getting actual photos of the cards before purchasing
TCGplayer: Your Trusted Marketplace for Collectible Trading Card ...
Another great location for single cards or just anything you want. I’ve found comic books, tcg cards and pops here.
Whatnot: Shop, Sell, Connect
Bulk cards
With card collection comes bulk. This is my recommendation for anyone getting into collecting. I’m currently having to reorganize all of mine from not doing this
Recommend a bulk box for any common cards or cards you just don’t like for storage.
