Dry Skincare Products

My favorite skincare products for managing dry skin and maintaining healthy skin

I love this Cetaphil Moisturizing Cream because it hydrates my dry skin really well and gives my skin a healthy, glowy look.

It has a thicker texture compared to the lotion, which makes it great for providing extra moisture.

I also love that it does not have a strong fragrance, as I prefer using products with fewer unnecessary ingredients on my skin :)

I love using this Cetaphil Moisturizing Lotion on my face because it has a lighter texture compared to the cream. Since my face is not as dry as my hands and legs, this works well for providing enough hydration without feeling too heavy.

I usually switch between the Cetaphil Moisturizing Cream and Lotion

I love this Cetaphil Cleanser because it cleans my skin well while helping protect its natural moisture.

It is gentle on my skin and does not leave my face feeling dry or tight after washing, which makes it a great choice for my mostly dry skin.

This is my go-to product for moisturizing very dry areas like my feet, heels, and other rough or dry spots. It creates a protective layer that helps keep the skin feeling soft and moisturized.

I also love that it doesn't wash off easily, even after washing once, so the moisture stays longer :)
Vaseline Petroleum Jelly

A gentle body wash recommended by well-established dermatologists for dry and sensitive skin. It is designed to cleanse without stripping away the skin's natural moisture, making it a good option for people who want a gentler body wash.

Dry Skincare Tips

These are some of the things I personally do that helped me maintain healthier and softer skin.

This may be the most obvious and repeated skincare tip, but I still want to mention it because it is genuinely important.

Even though you may have heard it a thousand times, staying hydrated is one of the simple habits that can support healthy skin.

I try to drink around 2L of water daily (adjust based on your own needs).

This is one of the habits that helped me manage my dry skin. I apply moisturizer shortly after showering because it helps lock in moisture while my skin is still slightly damp.

Since my skin tends to be dry, especially on my hands and legs, I prefer using thicker moisturizers. You can choose a moisturizer that suits your own skin type.

The products I personally use are included in the products section.

I personally prefer using non-fragranced skincare products, especially on my face, because I feel they are gentler on my skin and contain fewer unnecessary ingredients.

However, that doesn't mean I don't like smelling good — I actually love nice fragrances. Instead of using strongly scented skincare products on my face, I prefer applying perfume on my pulse points after moisturizing.

Sometimes, I apply a little Vaseline jelly or moisturizer first and then spray perfume on top, which helps the scent last longer. I personally like Cetaphil products as I mentioned in the Products section.

I use a scrub occasionally to help remove dead skin cells and keep my skin feeling smoother.

You can use your regular scrub or whatever suits your skin.

Sometimes, I make my own DIY scrub using sugar, honey, and olive oil, and it personally works well for me.

However, everyone's skin is different, so it is important to see what works best for your skin and avoid over-exfoliating.

When I am at home, I sometimes apply olive oil on my hands and legs and take a shower after a few hours.

I love the soft and glowy feeling it gives my skin.

I don't do this regularly, but it is something I enjoy when my skin needs some extra care.

This is just my personal experience, and it may not work the same way for everyone. I am not a dermatologist or skincare professional, so it is always best to understand your own skin and choose what works for you.

I personally avoid applying olive oil on my face because it may cause acne or breakouts for my skin.

Adding a drop of glycerin to my body lotion has helped make my scaly legs feel softer and more moisturized.

I only use a small amount because glycerin is quite concentrated, and I usually prefer doing this at night for some extra hydration. This is something that personally worked well for me, but everyone's skin is different. I'm not a dermatologist, so i...

Healthy skin is also connected to what we eat. I prefer eating nutritious foods and water-rich foods like watermelon and gherkin as part of my diet.

Having a balanced diet with enough nutrients is important for overall health and can help support healthier-looking skin.

Getting enough sleep and rest is another important part of maintaining healthy skin and overall well-being. Quality rest allows the body to recover, and it can reflect on how your skin looks and feels.
