One of my favorite family spots — we come here for walks, playground time, and to hop on the Greenway when the weather’s nice.
Barfield Crescent Park
I love coming here on Saturday mornings. Fresh veggies, local honey, and the friendliest vendors. It’s a true small-town gem!
Rutherford County Farmers' Market
My go-to trail when I need fresh air and sunshine. Bonus: dogs love it, too!
Cason Trailhead
Breezy trail with pretty river views — feels like a mini escape right in Murfreesboro.
Greenway Searcy Trail Head
This park has a playground with zip lines and a merry-go-round, as well as baseball fields and a turf field. Great for gatherings or relaxing.
McKnight Park
One of those “something-for-everyone” parks — walking trails, playground, tennis, and baseball. We’ve had family picnics here more times than I can count!
Old Fort Park
A Murfreesboro favorite — giant slides, lots of space to play, and a skate park right next door. The kids never want to leave!
Kids Castle
Clean park, friendly pups, and plenty of room to run — a local favorite for dog parents.
Murfreesboro Bark Park
Go-karts, mini golf, and that classic “summer night” vibe. Whether you’re with kids or just feeling nostalgic, it’s one of those spots that never gets old.
GO USA Fun Park
A peaceful place packed with history. You can walk the trails, check out the monuments, and imagine what life was like during the Civil War. Perfect for a quiet afternoon walk or reflection time.
Stones River National Battlefield
If you love old homes and stories, this place is stunning. The mansion tours feel like stepping back in time, plus the gardens make great photo spots.
Oaklands Mansion
A hidden gem right in the city! It's like a tiny old fashioned town frozen in time. A blacksmith shop, general store, and all. Great for kids, history lovers, or just strolling on a nice day.
Cannonsburgh Village
Seasonal fun spot with animals, hayrides, and festivals. Especially cute during fall for pumpkin patches and corn mazes — total Instagram moment.

The miso soup and salad (that ginger dressing was everything!). The sweet & spicy chicken bento box and whew—the chicken was crispy and full of flavor, the rice was fluffy, and the crab tempura with that sauce? Fire🔥🤤 Even the little egg had a smiley face on it—like come on, the details! My Thai tea was cold and just right too. Definitely one of my new favorite spots in Murfreesboro.
