These are some of the reward apps I personally use to get a little extra back from everyday shopping. I like that they’re all pretty simple and don’t take much effort to use—most of them just involve scanning receipts or linking accounts so you can earn points or cash back automatically. Apps like Fetch, Receipt Hog, ReceiptJar, CoinOut, and others let you snap pictures of your receipts from everyday stores, and some even allow you to link online accounts so you can earn from eligible online purchases too. Pogo is a little different since it can automatically track purchases when you connect your email, cards, and stores, but it also gives you the option to scan receipts if you want to earn extra points. With most of these apps, you may get a small bonus when offered for signing up, and I may also earn a referral bonus if you join through my link. It can take a little time to build up enough points or cash out, but it’s money you wouldn’t have had otherwise, just from purchases you’re already making anyway. What I like most about using a few of them together is that everything adds up over time. It’s not a big effort, but it’s nice getting a little something back.
