My top places to eat in Copenhagen as someone who visits every summer. From the best avocado toast to seafood platters to pistachio gelato, there’s no shortage of amazing options.

Incredible pasta dishes that take full advantage of Copenhagen’s seafood market. Located right by a canal.

Their appetizers (especially the bread) are a must! Encapsulates the deliciousness of Italian food while maintaining a fancy restaurant atmosphere.
Cantina

Love that they cook everything in front of you. I got the PB shrimp dumplings and Mariah Curry, both left me more than full and extremely satisfied. If you’re looking to deviate from the usual Italian, French, or Danish restaurants in Copenhagen, thi...

I was blown away by the quality and creativity of the food. Atlas Bar is entirely vegan, though you’d hardly notice with how amazing their burgers taste.

I’ve had mango gelato in 6 different countries and this location easily ranks top 3. The flavor is rich, ripe, and texture is not too icy. Paired fabulously with the chocolate, which also left me speechless.
Elis Copenhagen
Â
The best gelato in the city alongside Elis Copenhagen. I would highly recommend their pistachio and berry flavors. Such a nice variety of dairy free options as well!
Isoteket

Buka balances mainstream desserts with cultural Danish classics. I loved their pistachio croissant most of all
