Supplies that I've enjoyed using for journalling and sketching
0.5mm grid notebook with option to date each page. I have the B5 size at the moment, which I use for morning pages. Fountain pen friendly paper too
Stalogy Editor's Series Notebooks
My favourite pen! Pilot make super smooth nibs. I like the hexagonal grip, and how easy it is to disassemble and clean. The smiley face on the nib is also very cute :p
PILOT Kakuno BegreeN Fountain Pen Blue Grey Barrel
One of my favourite brands for washi tape.
Masking Tape MT - Japanese Washi Tapes
I've used a couple of these in the past for junk journalling and morning pages. The yellow paper is a nice touch. I also find that the ring binding is a little more forgiving if you stick a lot of ephemera into your entries
My pick for an "upgrade" to the Pilot Kakuno. Buttery smooth gold nib, and it comes with a CON-70 in box.
Custom 74 Fountain Pens
Can you tell I'm a bit of a Pilot fan? The colours are rich, the inks are well lubricated and clean easily. I have had the pleasure of trying Ama-iro (sky blue) and Yama-budo (mountain grape) since starting in the hobby.
iroshizuku Fountain Ink Range
My most recent leuchtturm was an A5 dot grid journal I used for bullet journaling in 2024. The pages held up to fountain pen ink very well, and are cream/off white.
Leuchtturm1917 A5 Medium Hardcover Notebooks
I was lucky enough to be gifted one by a friend. One of my favourite pencils for sketching.
Pencils
I've found these decent for mixed media. Thick paper, variety of sizes.
