Staying cool
Most conventions take place during the summer and its always hot. So many people in one room doesnt help. These are my favorite items to keep me cool
Don't want to carry things, leave your hands free and only take what you need. This is great to carry cash and a few cards
Clip & Go Strap w/Zippered Pouch
Even if theres an air conditioner it will get hot indoors due to the crowd. Definitely have some kind of fan on you. This is one of my go tos because it directly throws air at you.
Neck Fan
If loud places are too much for you then these are a big help. There are various different sound levels with these and you can still carry a conversation
Loop Earplugs
Most places have refillable water stations now so you'll want to take your own water bottle. You'll want something big so you dont have to keep finding a refill station.
Insulated & Stainless Steel Water Bottles
This is my go to so I dont overheat. Just throw it into water and you are good to go. Great for all day usage.

Protect yourself and your things
Last thing you want is to be sick or to have that print you got get ruined. These are items to keep you safe and your things intact.
You never know when you'll spot someone you just need a signature from. This is a great way to keep all your autographs in one place.

You are going to see at least one print you want or youll get some free posters. Make sure your art prints and posters dont get ruined
Best Art & Poster Transport Tubes
It gets smelly in there, protect your nose from all the different smells. This alone won't work to keep you from being sick.
Face Masks
You will want a reusable bag in case you dont get one immediately. This is to carry anything you buy or freebies they hand you.
Grocery & Shopping Bags
If you have to wait outside at any time you will want some sunscreen. These are only a few options but any sunscreen 50 spf and up will do.

Your phone is going to die especially if youre using it for photos and games. take a portable charger with you so it can keep going all day

I always pack a sweater since some rooms are freezing cold and you dont want to be uncomfortable. These are perfect to express your love for all things fandom. They are also soft so comfy enough to fall asleep in when you're done with the con.
