Makes Up for the Lack of Garlic
Italian Seasoning
I can't just buy Italian seasoning off the shelf or I run the risk of garlic being an ingredient. These are the various seasonings ive put together to make my own version thats safe to eat.
This is something I like to add into pasta and most meat. Its great to put into your own mix of Italian seasoning as well. I prefer using the spice rather than the fresh thyme, lot easier to mix in.
Organic Whole Thyme
I love adding basil to my food. This gives the food an earthy flavor. This is easy to use and goes great with thyme, salt, Pepper, and other seasonings. This is one I add into my Italian seasoning blend as well.
Basil Seasonings
This is a must have especially when I'm making pasta. I love using so much of this to give the food a herby flavoring. This pairs so well with thyme and basil too.
McCormick® Oregano Leaves, 0.75 OZ
Now this is one I use very rarely but also good for soups and steaks. I like pairing this with some herbs to make a nice flavor profile. Its good with some salt and pepper as well.

Makes Up for the Lack of Garlic
Sometimes you just need something to serve as a substitute for the garlic. These are some seasonings that help make up for it on their own. You can pair it with other things or use on its own.
Now if you're going to own onion powder we all know its going to clump and thats the worst. It helps if you keep it in the fridge. This is one that you can add to almost anything, you'd be surprised how easily this can substitute for garlic.
McCormick® Onion Powder, 2.62 oz
Salt is a must have for anything that I cook. It adds great flavor and goes with any other seasoning quite well. This is my go to brand of salt since its easy to find and you get a lot for not too much money.
Morton Salt
Pepper is another staple in my seasoning cabinet since it mixes well with everything. Sometimes I'll use peppercorns since they add more of that spice flavor but if I want something more subtle than ground pepper it is.

I love putting just a hint of paprika on things especially on chicken. This not gives it a bit of spice but also gives it a nice red color. This is perfect with a little salt and pepper.
McCormick® Paprika, 2.12 oz
This I mostly put into soup to give it the yellow color but also for flavoring. When you can't use chicken bouillon this is the perfect alternative. This with a hint of salt, some onion powder, and chicken broth make a big difference.
McCormick® Ground Turmeric, 1.87 oz
Sometimes I want my food to have a bit of a kick or I want to make cajun food but I can't use the already made seasoning due to garlic. This adds a little kick to my food and paired with the make Italian seasoning is great.
